What do yall think about putting a 33x12.5x15 tire on a 15x8 wheel? Is it ok, or do I need to buy some 15x10 wheels? A tire guy said he didn't recommend it, but I am wondering if he just wants to sell me some wheels also. Please help. Thanks

I'll let you in a few things. It is just fine too run 12.50's on a 8 inch wheel on a Dakota. The lower vehichle weight helps. The tire will wear better and handle better with a 10 inch wheel, but it's not good to put a 10 inch wheel on a Dakota. There are a lot of people who have put 33-12.50's on their stock Dak wheels and have had little to no problems. I say do it.
