Message: Don't know, but I was wondering if there is any way to add a high-flow aftermarket cat without triggering your check engine light.

Message: Badblue, even if the check engine light comes on, you can always reset it by pulling the negative terminal of the batt & then turning the key to on/start for 30 secs to reset the pcm. However, if the light stays on its not gonna work.

Message: i just took out my cat and i would tell you to order a kat box from speedtweaks. plugs into where you old o2 sensor is and keeps check engine light off. also will not make it run like crap and idle funny.

Message: I have a 5.9 Durango with the 40 series Flowmaster. Yesterday, I had the cat replaced with a straight pipe and installed the "little black box". It really rumbles now! Just a little louder that with the factory cat, but a very different tone now (which I like very much).
Definately not a "Soccer Mom's SUV"!

Message: RThomas - LOUD!....and, yes, you are demanding....and hung up on cats. Why are they so important to you? Not much H.P. to be had there and the air would be cleaner if you stuck with one even if you changed to a high flow model.
Badblue - You shouldn't have a check engine light. Better to spend your money on a 3.92 gears. You'll thank me many times over if you do.
