Message: OK. I was inspired by another post. What kind of sheet are you maniacs carrying for a driving record? Not that we should be proud of it or anything....
I've had:
Speeding
Crossing a Yellow/white/double Line(s)
Improper Passing
Driving after Suspension
No Insurance/Financial Responsibility
DWI
and a couple minor accidents...
90% of which were all during HS/College. Yes, I have grown up a lot, it just cost me - gulp - a few dollars.
One more thing, the one I ALWAYS hear about have never happened to me..knock on wood..
Stop Signs/Red Lights
Seatbelts
P.S. post anonymously if this kind of thing bothers you..I personally don't care. I won't be running for public office till....oh...2050.

I received minor consumption, open bottle, and "failure to come to a full stop at a stop sign" tickets while in tech school. All tickets at the same stop.
I've gotten smarter in my old age.

Message: 2 Tickets: 79 in a 55 by a state trooper and 64 in a 45. 1 Reckless driving for spinning the old rubber. 5 Accidents including hitting a telephone pole at 95, flying my old 4x4 at 35 mph into a 6 ft deep ditch at our national park, and cutting a doughnut in the middle of town and wiping out a street sign. The other 2 were just minor. I've seen my share of body shops and insurance offices.

79 in a 55 (Back in December, only ticket in my Dak.)
74 in a 55 (in my girlfriend's father's 84 caprice, when I was 16)
3 Accidents---1997 sideswiped a car due to sun glare, never saw it and she shouldn't have parked two feet into the passing lane of a hiway, I paid.
1998---asleep at the wheel, hit a guardrail and rolled the car, happy to have survived with only 58 stitches in my forearm
2001---rear ended in my Dak by a 1997 Escort, She bought me a new bumper, and her car was totaled.
1 other encounter, pulled a State Trooper out this spring with my Dak. He sunk his Crown Vic in the median right to the bottom of the frame. Yanked him out with the mighty dodge!!

Message: 180KM in a 40KM zone. Just kidding!!
Had 1 ticket in the last 3 years but realisticly should have my license taken away for driving like an animal. The ticket was in a courtsey mini van because I didn't have my radar detector. Back around 6 years ago I got four or 5 tickets in 2 years all in very slow vehicles but I have learned when to pick my spots now and cops aren't as fusssy over the Daks because they are cool.
I highly recommend a top of the line Whistler 360* detector. It has paid for it's self several times over and I am ticket free with that device.

Message: Not gonna say if or how many times I have have been pulled over or gotten tickets because I dont want to jinx myself. The last was when my freind was driving my dak, he was sober and I wasnt. We pull off the highway and we see this sherrif and I make a joke about racing him(not too funny) and my freind speeds up a bit when this spotlight comes in through the window on my side. It was another sherrif we didnt see that basically cused us out and left me with my shorts full of......well, ya get my point. I wont be drag racing anymore cops.lol.

Message: Heres whaat i have been pulled over for but to date i only have one traffice ticket to my name.
Rear ended a 2000 dodge ram at 3am when he was stopped at a red light. Totaled the back of hist truck, $500 damage to mine but no ticket
Rear ended some ghetto civic. Completely totaled the back end of the early 90s civic. The ghetto boys in the car were like sh1t man dont worry about it and they drove off leaving me wondering what that was all about and with a little scratch on my front bumper. (they prolly woke up the next morning wondering what the hell they did last nite or it was a stolen car
)
73 in a 45 zone... very windy road, took cop 10 miles to catch up. Female cop let me off with a warning
77 in a 65.. AZ Trooper let me off with a warning
Running red light while speeding while stoned as f*ck (yes i was stupid when i was younger) cop let me off with a warning
Lights off and speeding... I was in a brightly lit street. No ticket.
Racing a hot chick in a BMW, 50 in a 30 zone, and both of us running a red turn light... Both got off with a warning.
and the only time i have ever got a ticket was last month i was comeing home from work driving my bosses wife's Subaru with him asleap next to me...and i got a ticket for doing 87 in a 60 zone
And thats my rap sheet.

Message: Got my first ticket when I first started driving and rearended someone. I won, the couger made it's exit on a roll back.
40 in a 25 in a speed trap I knew had been set up for the NASCAR fans when the race was in town. Guess I was rushing to cash my paycheck and then give it to the city for fines.
30 in a 25. Rural town, cop decided I looked like a good canidate for a drug search and trailed me with no lights on for what he claimed was 3 miles (seams kind of illegal to me). He searched me and tore the cab apart. Funny thing was he didn't ask to see under the Roll N Lock, I could have had my meth lab back there. I latter told another cop the story and he agrees I got caught up in profiling. I guess it can happen to whites too, or atleast on a slow night it can.

Message: Ok, here we go...
1) Pulled over the first day of owning my first car (1986 Chevy Cavalier 4-speed, 32,000 miles used) as I left school. Officer says I was speeding (wasn't, just first car out of lot), no ticket no warning.
2) Pulled over for having a tail-light out and loud exhaust, fix it ticket.
3) Pulled over for non-functional trailer lights and (supposed) speeding. Ha. Cops played good cop bad cop, no ticket.
4) Pulled over for 75 in 55 on the expressway, late for work, $100 fine.
5) Pulled over for expired plates (2 days after birthday, working 6 days a week 12-hours). Got ticketed, went to pay fine, District Court waived fine. Nice lady. :0)
6) Accident, got rear-ended in my Dakota. Minor damage to truck that led to $3,200 in repairs (New bumper, bed alignment, dent removal, repaint). Officer concluded that I wasn't at fault, which I wasn't. Other driver left scene, but I did get his name and phone number, which I provided to the cops. Insurance paid for damages.
Lizardking,
What kinda dodge do you have? If I see you behind me, I'm pulling over! :0)

68 in 55 verbal warning. I saw his lights and pulled right over.
78 in 55 this one was bull$h!+ he was profiling me for sure. I was SLOWLY passing a glass company truck in traffic and this guy turns around to get me. I turned off into a neiborhood and he lost sight of me. No ticket. There is no way I was going over 63.
Running a red light. I told him I was out of it. He said don't do it again.
Going the wrong way down a one way street. I can't explain this one except I just wanted to see a guys restored caddy and didn't even think of it being a one way street. cop was 2 cars behind be when I made the turn.
One time I was going on vacation with my family in my Dak and missed a turn. I ended up about 80 miles east of where I was supposed to be. Ohio state police where called. I saw 3 turn to get me. Not one got within sight while going the same way.

Message: Ok, time to fess-up on my part.
BEFORE I was 21:
17 counts of Driving on a Suspended license (14601.1a)
7 counts of Speeding (Santa Clara County)
2 counts of No front license plate (5200vc)
1 Exhibition of speed - Baily Road (Old street racing "strip" in San Jose)
1 Evading arrest - 100mph+ on Hwy 9 towards Big Basin (and did it until the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Officer showed up at my house the next AM...he also knew my vehicle license plate and driver's license by memory...that's how I was always pulled over.)
Again...my driving record is clean as can be...but it cost me quite a bit of money to get it there. (Driving record was clean by the time I was 25.)
BTW: Those were all in my old '76 Ford Capri (No...not Mercury. There was a difference.)
