Message: Does anybody know how to fix damage caused by egging? I washed the egg off the morning I saw it, but it had already sat too long, and now there is paint damage on the hood and door. Do you know of any way to gat the remaining egg off safely and fix the damage already done?

Message: Work carefully with a cleaner wax, something like Mothers, and a soft terry towel. Be sure to remove all shell fragments before starting. The scratches will need to be buffed out with a rubbing compound and may even require wet sanding with #1500 or #2000 grit paper before compounding.
Egg staining and scratching from the shell as it hits the vehicles is probably the worst thing you paint will ever see.
My suggestion is to go see a professional detailer, if the damage is limited to a small area it shouldn't cost that much to fix.
You need to get it off quick before permanent staining occurs.
Then build a garage.
