Message: Does anyone have the Saber Tonneau by Extang on their truck? If so, Do you like it? Would you recommend it? Do the snapless closures work well?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Message: I've had mine for a month and love it! Works
well and easy to get on and off. Extang is the
best for soft tops.

Message: I have an Extang top, not sure which one. Would I buy it again? Nope. It sags like crazy even on the tightest hookup, whenever the truck moves. Standing still, it's ok, but as soon as I can afford a hard-cover it's getting tossed.

Message: I also have one of these covers. .forget about hooking it back up if you take it off in the winter (even if on its special "cold weather" setting.. also the corners are curling up , and looks like garbage...... just my experience.

Message: I have the saber without the snaps. I like the look and it seems to work fine for me. I am worried about the winter if i ever have to take it off it sounds like it will be a real PITA to get back on. The corners are curling a little bit, but i can deal with it. Overall i am pleased they hae a good warranty and it was reasonably priced.

Message: Well don't go for the Lund covers either. I got their soft tonneau that is snapless and lifts like a trunklid; sucked. Majorly. The freakin' parts didn't even fit quite right. Finally tore it off two months later and it's destined for the trash soon. Next I want Dodge's, which rolls up, etc, and isn't vinyl. But at $570, it'll have to wait for more performance parts! -tk

Message: Go with the snaps over the saber after a year or two the corners on the sabers don't sit properly. A buddy of mine lost one of his bows when the cover blew off when he was on the freeway. The cover flipped over the cab and for a second he couldn't see were he was going. I've seen other trucks with corners lifted. If you have cold winters were your from and plan removing it in the winter go with a hard cover, but check the hard cover some are to tight to cab and can cause some damage to the cab of your truck because of the flex. I have the classic tunneau and like it. I can not open it in the winter. and the tail gait freeze because of the bed liner.
Hope that helps
