Message: 01dakotaman, get yourself a torque wrench and torque down the lugs to 90 lbs. That is what I do and what was reccommended to me by my mechanic. I think the door sticker says 100 lbs. but that seems a bit high to me. I haven't had any rotor troubles since doing this.

Message: It has been... almost four months and about 10,000 miles since a installed the Pro Stop Ceramic pads.
When I installed the rotors I torqued the lugs to 95 ft-lbs in a "star" pattern.
The rotors have not warped. I have not pulled the wheels to check the amount of wear but peering through the wheels the rotors are not worn much at all--- no grooves, no lines, just a smooth surface.
The pads on the other hand were supposed to be "low dust"-- they are not. They leave a thick, hard to clean, BLACK dust on the wheels.
These pads are OK, but fade is a problem. After a normal, steady, slow, braking period, the fade is outrageous--feels like I have a jump on the pedal to get the truck to stop.
I will not buy these pads again, I will try to find another ceramic pad to see if I have any better luck when the time comes to change them again.
