Subject: frame "flexing - bounce"? IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 club cab 4x4. After I hit a bump, it feels like the frame is bouncing or flexing up and down for a second or so. Is it the frame, or is it the suspension? Anybody else experience this?

Message: Any noise associated with this? Do you get this feeling in the rear with an empty bed? I would crawl around and look at the body mounts, see if any of them are shiny or worn and check the rear shocks for leaking fluid and to ensure they have not come loose. Your frame will not flex unless it is 'off-camber' or twisted.

Message: There is no noise associated with it. Doing this since new. I checked the shocks and body mounts, they are ok. Doesnt feel quite as bad with a heavy load, but it is still noticeable. Feels like the cab or frame jiggles up and down after I hit a bump. Could it be just the springs? Does anybody else feel this in their Gen.3 club cab? Or am I the only one???????????
