yeah they are. save cell phone minutes...especially helpful while mudding. Or when someones stuck then you can comunicate without stickin your head out the window and yellin.

hey i just got my two firestiks and my CB, but i was wondering where was the best place to run the coax into the cab. i have a 2002 quad cab. and the firestiks are in the bed on both sides behind cab. and do i really need to tune the antenas? i have an SWR thing that my friend used. but the guy who sold me the antenas said i didn't need to tune them, but the box they came in said i didd need to.

I adopted my Dad's handle, "Lone Star" after I inherited his old school CB. There is no better Radar Detector than a Cobra tuned to channel 16.
