Most of you probably knew this already, but on 11/8/03 Chrysler recalled 2002-03 Jeep Liberty's for ball joint failures. The ball joint seal was wearing away. So why weren't the dakotas and durangos recalled? According to DM...
"The Liberty and the Durango have totally different design and suspension"
That was DM's moronic answer to the question. They do have different suspension systems, but both have the same crappy ball joints!!! Talk about avoiding a necessary recall. Just ticked me off when I read it, thought I'd share.
