Message: Are they worth the $150 for them? How much of a difference do they make? And will they really go on as easily as the company claims?
I would appreciate any input I could get, thanks!

Message: I don'y know about hellwig but I put a addco rear bar on 73 Charger, a couple of clamps and bushings, 4 drilled holes and some really easy wrenching and it was all done in less the 45 minutes, but then I had all the tools I needed handy.

Message: When I ordered my 2004 regular cab 4.7 5 speed the sway bar was not available from mopar. After 1000 miles I purchased the Hellwig bar and it is the best suspension change I can imagine. Installation was a snap, since the 9 1/4 rear has the mounts and weld nuts already in place. No drilling required for either axle. The handling went from oversteer to neutral with a steadier straight ahead ride and the rear end skipping on bumpy turns is gone. No downside to this- go for it!

Message: I have the hellwig. It was very easy. I did it in a cramped garage in 15 degree weather. It works great and was incentive for me to get a front sway bar as well.

Message: I upgraded to the Hotchkis sway bars, front and back, Did it help... Yes but good shocks where better and cheaper.
I also spent around $500 on the hotchkis setup.
If you can do the Hellwig for less than $200 I think yhou will be very happy with them.
One issue that I have always had with a rear sway bar is that it limits your rear suspension travel.
Keep an eye on those brackets that attach to your axle. I shreaded my first set but the second set is holding up nicely. (phone call to Hotchkis and they sent them free of charge.)
Is $150 for front and rear?

Message: According to Summit, which is where I am going to have to purchase them from, Hellwig only supplies the rear for my particular model of dakota. The price is $150 for the rear only.

Message: I have an extra OEM rear sway bar with the dogbone and axle brackets. I would sell that to ya if you want. Take a peake at your rear axle, you should have the mounting plates tack welded in place.
If not then I also have the "U bolts" that came with my Hotchkis setup that would work. What part of the country are you in? let me know if you want the stocker. I was going to sell it to a friend of mine with 2 rancho 5000 shocks for the rear for $100. (been over the past year and if want take them then I just want them out of my garage.) It would be odd sized but fairly light. Shipping shouldn't be too bad.
