Subject: help 2/4 lowering kit & "cuda" exhaust IP: Logged
Message: i installed the "cuda" style exhaust on my V6 dakota and now i am going to lower it with a 2/4 lowering kit from belltech. i was just looking for input & help from anyone who has done the same. will the exhaust pipes hit the axle when i hit bumps in the road or go over things like speed bumps & potholes? do i have to do modifications to the exhaust.
also has anyone installed the 2/4 belltech nitro-active lowering kit themselves? how do you like it? was it hard to install?
any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Message: I'm assuming you got the shackles(like me). You have to cut off the old ones. the install is pretty easy if you can do that. JUST DON"T remove the front and back (leaves)at the same time!! do the front then the back. makes it way easier to line everything back up. The front springs are easy as hell. You should be ok with the exhaust. You could always modify the factory hangers a bit to tuk it all up. The directions for the kit show everything. have fun.......
