I checked for bad balljoints and I know my right upper is bad. Jacked it up and pushed in on top of tire, had some movement. Now,can anyone tell me how to you check for play in lower joints. 1999 5.2L V8. Reg cab 4x4......

Why bother checking? We all know that both the uppers and lowers will self destruct before long, so go ahead and have them all replaced with Moog problem solver ball joints.

They have them for all the gen2 and gen3 Dakotas. Mine get replaced this week.
