Message: I just recently added some Yokohama Geolander H/T-S's to my 02 2wd dakota sport. These have really good traction compared to the factory goodyears that were on it. I did however go with the same size tire.
The one thing I seemed to notice since switching is that is in order to drive straight in a lane I usually have to cock the wheel to the left or right. It almost seems like there is play in the steering wheel now.
Is this something that just comes with using the Geolanders(tread pattern) or does it have something to do with tire pressure? Thoughts?
Thanks

Message: It might be time for an alignment. Also, look for worn suspension pieces in the front end. I had an worn inner tie rod end that caused the truck to not drive straight.
By the way, a great choice of tire!
I have the same ones and they make a hell of a difference in the quality of ride. Smooooooth!

Message: I definitely like them although they do not respond to handling like the stock goodyears did. Two different types of tires though.
That said I doubt I will ever buy another pair of overpriced crappy goodyear tires.
