Subject: Another water post IP: Logged
Message: I own a 1994 Dakota regular cab longbed. I recently began experiencing a lot of water on the driver's floorboard after rainy days. Did some testing with the hose but didn't get it to leak anywhere from the front. But I did seem to get results when I poured water on the top of the cab that flowed into the back sliding window. I would like to hear from anyone who has had this problem and what it cost them to fix it. Thanks.

Message: I have heard of rear Brake light leaking and rear window. Guy down the street from me had a late 90's Dakota and he had to pull and reseal his rear window to stop his leak.

Message: Well, I believe I found the cause...yep, the infamous a/c culprit. I ran the a/c yesterday, and nothing was dripping out of the drain tube. Guess I'll be getting that fixed now, but I was mystified because the water collects on the driver's side, rather than the passenger side as was in all the posts I read. I guess we'll see if this does the trick.
