I'm looking for some aftermarket rotors and pads for my 03 QC. Has anyone else had any experience changing the front rotors on an 03 DAK? I need to change mine and I cannot find anyone who sells them yet...other than the dealer and I expect that in another 13K I would be in this same place again if I replace them with OEM rotors. I looked into the rotors from an 02 DAK but the OEM part numbers are different at the dealer.

I looked all over the web for 03 brakes and couldn't find anything. Your the first 03 I've seen looking for them because of a problem. Do you have rear disks too? I was looking in antisipation of a problem, but have 34000 on mine with plenty to go.

Yes I have the 4-wheel disc brake set-up. When I took it in to the dealer they told me the rotors needed to be turned and that it would cost. After reading all the troubles people have with brakes I figured I wouldn't prolong the inevitable and just replace the rotors myself now...If I can find any.

Get a second opinion. Most dealers seem to want to stick it to you in the name of profit. Folks that have problems usually find the rear brakes are out of ajustment too. Balance the load and the problem goes away.
