Looks like I'll be changing my own ball joints
this summer in my 02 Dak. Yes, it's still in
warranty but I got into a pissing match with the
service dept at my local *friendly* Dodge dealer.
I have very little play in the upper left ball
joint when I checked mine. I took the Dak to the
dealer and told them about it plus some other
minor things wrong. I wanted to talk to the
tranny guy about the five speed auto (shifting
in and out of over drive all the time) and they
got a bug up their rear and said I could not talk
to him. I told all of them what I thought, grabbed
my keys and left.
Anyway, what might be the best manual to use to
help me replace the joints myself? I have a Haynes
for my better halfs 01 Dodge mini van.. Haynes ok
for the Dakota also?
