 Subject: 92 3.9 into 90 truck

just replace my old worn out 125 hp v6 in my 1990 with a low milage 1992 180 hp v6 out of a B 250 van the two biggest headaces were rewiring the ECU and building the exhaust down pipe system to fit. tryed to use the JBA headers for the 92 engine but they hit the chassie on the right side. the van didnot have a tach init but the ecu had the pin for it. So just drill the blank spot on the ecu plug and inserted the tack wire works fine. same thing with the over drive unit any one wanting a extra 55 hp in their old truck this might be the way to go i did consider the v 8 but i live in the united kingdom fuel is about $5.00 a gal

wtf does you living across the pond have to do with anything?? btw, you will in the long run pay for that extra 55 hp in increased fuel consumption as there is no two ways about it more power ALWAYS equels more fuel consumption as HP does not simply appear out of thin air, so the hi cost of fuel due to oppressive taxation on British Subjects will cost you. Gee would it not be nice for you to be a Citizen Of The United States and not be "subject" to some "Royal Pains" whim?? One other thing the 180 HP engine was available only as a "93 model engine the "92 and "94 on up are rated at 175 HP so you did not even get what you thought you did.

The reason fuel is so high over there is because every thing is funded by the goverment. I like Tony Blair and think him and Jack Straw deserve much credit in standing with us in the Iraq.
But If I was British I would demand for a tax break and vote for people how stand for less goverment.
What the biggest Mopar V8 you can get over there in Britian? 318 or 360 in B-250 and Dodge pick-up?
Is the truck you have a Dakota?
