Subject: Axel leak IP: Logged
Message: Have any of you B-body Dakota owners ever had to deal with a Front Axel leak comming from the either side? I think I might be a bearing or a gasket that needs to be replaced but I'm not for sure.

Message: Looks like to me you could have a Bushing that went bad in the axel. Since you got a half axel what the service dept is going to have to do is tear down the right or left side of the suspension to get the axel.
My gess is there going to have to replace a gasket also.
I would just take to the local Napa shop and have them take a look at it.
The Deal really does make a k1lling on Labor coast.

Message: And B-body is the common designation of the older ('60s,'70s) mopar mid size cars, not the Dak. I'm aware there's a similar truck designation but its not commonly used, and that's not it.
