Message: just a quick question. is there any way to get the governor turned off. my 01 dak is capped at 160km/h that bites! maybe this is not an issue in the usa but in canada it is. even my dam 94 firebird formula was capped at 180km/h. why do we buy fast performance cars but get the dam thing governed ? any help?
Message: You didn't mention what engine you have but your options are to either have the computer flashed to raise the speed limiter (a few companies in the States can do this or other changes but it is expensive) or buy a Hypertech or Superchip programmer (not quite as expensive in the States).
