Subject: Seeking Fog Lamp Brackets IP: Logged
Message: All-
I have a 2003 3.9L SXT Dakota. It did not come with Fog Lights/Lamps and I'd like to put aftermarket Lights in. Have looked all over the net and cannot find anyone who sells the STOCK mounting Brackets.
Anyone here have a site or a set to sell?
Thanks
Sledge

Message: Did you try the dealer? Brackets aren't too expensive. When I
put aftermarket fog lights into my truck I made my own
brackets. Also try www.car-part.com

Message: Before buying anything, take a close look at what's behind those plugs in the front where the lights go. On my '01 the fog lights are bolted directly to a plastic molding in valance panel. There is no seperate bracket.

Message: Does Anyone know where you can get some nice Aftermarket Fog lamps that fit the holes good enough to mount them without the brackets. Because I am looking for a pair. It's either that or I'm getting a saffari bar for some good Daylighters. But I thought that, that would look strange without the original lamps in there too.

Message: The part numbers for the brackets you are looking for are 55077548AA and 55077549AA. They shouldnt cost more than $10.00 at your local dealer. We sell them for $7.09 however with shipping you could get it from your dealer cheaper. If you want a Factory kit with the switch, harness and lights with mounting kit. We sell this kit for $152.15 it can be found in our Accessories for Dodge Dakota. www.newdodgeparts.com

Hey thanks for the info. I (as with most people) USUALLY go to the dealer last, as parts tend to be more expensive. Can't blame a guy for trying to get the best deal possible right?
Most appreciated though for all the info.
