need help,i bought an after market trailer wireing kit but cannot find the plugs to connect it under the rear of the truck, any help?

the easiest way I can desctibe it would be to start at the tail light and trace it back to frame. you should see a wire bundle that may be coiled and tied to the frame. It may be easier to see if you drop the spare tire.
There will be a plug for both tail lights.
FYI,
My first attempt, I was sold the incorrect addapter that only had 3 connectors in the 4 plug dongle. Make sure that when you find the plug each wire had a contact on the inline dongle.
