Proud new owner - I think I got a great deal:

for $19,290, plus the 7/70 warranty for $1500
Seems like a great deal to me - what do you think?
Anyway, I love the truck so far (it still only has 50 miles on the odometer - had 6 when I picked it up).

Welcome to the brotherhood.
Glad to see you got one before the 2005 redesign came out.
The current Dakota looks better to me, and I'm assuming to you too.
Not to blow the bloom of your Dakota pride, but the first thing you'll be dissappointed in is warped brake rotors before you get to 30,000 mi.
Just a heads-up.
You still got a great deal on a great truck.

Welcome! Now don`t worry about your brakes. They are four wheel disks and are bigger(starting in 03) with dual piston calipers. Have not heard of an 03 or newer warping yet. The rears may moan when you back up, no biggy(to me anyway). BTW isn`t the 7/70 standard or are you talking about an extension of the bumper to bumper?
