Message: Do not quote me but I belive that they are a platnium plug that has been coated with titanium. It is a long life plug. It will not give any better performance but it reduce the frequency that you will have to change your plugs.

Message: Remember that titanium is the most heat resistant alloy. It can only be welded in a near complete vaccume. It is usualy cintered or vapor deposited. There are other methods of working it but they would be too expensive. I am going to guess that they are takeing their double platinum plug and then vapor depositing titinium nitridge on the plugs. This is how I would do it. It is often done to parts that must have a smooth ultra hard nonreactive finish. It is popular with hot rodders and custom gun smiths.

Message: I have not fallen for them ART. I was answereing a question someone had about the titanium plugs. I have not used them and have no plans to. If I wanted to cover a platnium plug with titanium this is how I would do it. I am not a pig fan of gimicks. I do like platnium plugs though. I can not see changeing plugs every 30,000 miles if You can go 100,000 miles. The new Iridium plugs show real promise for high performance aplications but they must be changed every 30,000 miles.
