Subject: 91 Fuel Pump IP: Logged
Message: Ok I went to go out yesterday and jumped into truck but it wouldnt fire, after a quick investigation I determined fuel pump wasnt working, so I replaced it. But still no go.
Now I know there is power showing up at the connector at the rear, but I am not sure how much power should be there etc. Does anyone know how much power should be coming out of each connector at the pump.
Also I have been having issues getting truck to start lately, turn the key and it clicks but that is it. Is this somehow related ie ignition switch maybe???
Any info is greatly appreciated
Thanks

Message: When you try to start it,it just clicks and nothing else? Loose battery connection somewhere. There should be 12 volts at the pump plug when it starts. Is it cranking and not starting? Need more info to help you out.

Message: Ya it is cranking but not starting. I check the things out further and I think that it is the pump relay
