Message: It seems to me that Dodge would gain money by doing a re-call, and fixing the problem. I was planning on buying a durango this weekend, but because of the new developments, and their lack of admiting there is a problem, and their unwillingness to fix it, I wont be buying one. Which really sucks cause I had my heart set on one. I bet this problem will cause a lot of people to change their mind about buying them.

Message: It won't cost you $10.00 if you put grease zerks in before the ball joints wear out.

Message: so i just looked under my truck. recently got it back from the dealer - had them replace my lower control arm bushings, and they said they needed to replace my upper ball joints, the boots were torn. turns out for the lower bushings they game me completely new arms with new lower ball joints as well.
all that for my $100 extended warranty deductible.
