I have a 93 and the custom dual is great. I had it for about 8 years. Sounds good too.

Dual exhaust means one exhaust manifold per side of the engine with its own dedicated pipe running all the way to the end of the vehicle. It does not mean anything else.

Then a dual exhaust that has been improved by adding an x pipe shouldn't be considered dual exhaust ? You've got a tough sell there...

All factory Mopar dual systems from the 50's up have had a crossover pipe, are none of those real duals either? There is a HP advantage to having x-over or 'X; pipe.

hows it goin man? I have a 97 5.2 with flowmaster 2 chamber 40 delta series with 3.5" tips at angle to my bumper corners, and I think it sounds really good. Just loud enough to notice it when you drive down the street, but not too annoying when driving on the highway, just perfect, I love it, and believe that your 5.2 will also sound good. L8R bud.
