the deal is the tire rack wont sell me the tires I want because they say the gvw is more than what the tires can handle. they are goodrich traction TA,s, 215/60/15. they said that the truck calls for 195/75s I told them that its a southern comfort truck and the tires that came on it are 215/60,s.I understand that they have to cover there asses, but I think there full of it myself. well anyway I'm trying to prove them wrong. I was thinking that the gvw was more like 4800 or so. my old lady has the truck so I cant look at it right now. its got a 92 rating on the tires that on there now and I think thats whats the new tires are rated. what ever happened to putting on whatever the hell you want. I could go up to the goodyear place and get the exact same tire and they wouldnt say a word, but I was trying to save a few bucks, well more like 100.00. well if anyone has anymore info on this let me know.
