Ok, I've seen all the posts about dusting fords, chevies, rice trucks, etc, BUT, do you race fellow DAK owners?
No worries about losing credibility posting about beating other Daks? Do you go searching in town for another DAK just to see what he has...ya know...is it a sleeper?
Have ya noticed more DAKs showing up in town?
I have a QC...today was a DAK QC owner's day in heaven...stopped for gas, had a Frontier owner all over my DAK saying what a great looking truck and how he wants to trade 'UP' for one...then passing two other QCs (a first in town for me)...one a dirty white one (hey, do you guys do a QC wave?), the other a brand new Intense Blue, pumping gas...I just had to turn the corner real slow to pass the gas station, while he was looking at me, and nail it for the catback/z-tube to come alive...loved watching his jaw drop.
On hindsight (gee, I wish I had hindsight in high school), I should have turned around and chatted him up...who knows, he may have been wondering what the hell I did to my truck to make it go and sound as it does...next time I'll stop.

Hell yeah I race other Daks- I like to see how mine runs compared to others...but when it comes to sticking together, we do.

On occasion, not many racers around here, and if people do its in cars like 3-series BMWs. Only Daks to race me have been R/Ts. Makes my v6 look sooo slow.

Hehehehe...not that i'm one for eating his own...but yes, i've indulged myself with the occasional Dak race.
Ya win some, ya loose some...that's part of the game. There's always someone out there that's faster than you.
