I just opened a all-data account because I needed to access some of the TSB. If there is anyone out there would like one of the TSB in full text let me know and I will post it here. It will save you $24.

I can only see TSB for 1998 dodge dakota v6 4x4's...no other years or models, so dont ask.

check out allata.com and let me know if you need anything

Could you post a summarized list of all the TSBs and a list of recalls?

You can see all of them for free at alldata, but you wont get instructions on how to fix them unless you are a member...

look through them and let me know what you need

Well, I visited their Web Site and I'm not too impressed. I think $25.00 is way too much for their services. They had several errors in their listings for the TSb's on 2000 model Dakotas. For one, they didn't even have the 5.9L as an option for the Dakota. Then they had the 46re transmission listed under the 4.7L TSB. They don't have 46re's on the 4.7L. I wrote them a letter that reads like this:

"Dear Sir/Madam:
I was going to purchase the $24.95 1 year membership so I could look at all the TSB's for my truck, but when I started the subscription page my truck wasn't listed. The only V8 Dakota you have listed is the 4.7L. You have the 4cyl, 6cyl, and 4.7L 8 Cyl listed. I have a 5.9L. I noticed you have in your list of TSB's for the 4.7L a TSB for the 46re. There is no 46re on a 4.7L. The 4.7L's have a 45re. If I'm going to pay $25.00 for something I expect the information to be creditable. What is your explanation for these discrepancies?"

I noticed the AllData site is sponsored by AutoZone. That explains the lack of organization and the errors in their data base.

AutoZone needs to change their name to

"Ricers-R-Us"!!!

They don't care about stocking REPLACEMENT parts anymore. They'd rather stock their stores with light up tail pipes TYPE-R stickers, and intake tubes!

If you want to trash autozone for lack of parts go ahead that is what they do lack. Advance auto parts tends to have more of the performance type parts though. O'reillys is another up and comer similar to Advance in their parts selection. But alldata does kind of suck for what they have and what you have to pay.

I wasn't really trashing either one. I was simply stating facts. I used to live in Central Arkansas and you had no choice but AutoZone. Especially if you needed a part on Sunday. They were also the only one to offer a lifetime warranty on about 99% of the parts they sell. Every time I've gone in there for a part for the last 20 years they had an error in their database. I'm not exaggerating. Just 1 year ago I bought a radiator for my Caprice Classic. I wanted the Police Heavy Duty Radiator (3-core). She pulled up the screen and they showed the Heavy Duty Police radiator as a 2-core. I told her no way. I asked her to do a search for a 3-core and she found one. It was $30.00 cheaper than the 2-core. I didn't say anything. They had both in stock. I asked if I could pull them both out of the box and she agreed. I thought maybe the 2-core might have bigger flews. They do make an aftermarket heavy duty 2 & 1 core radiator that has much wider flews instead of 3 or 4 small ones. Upon inspection, I confirmed that the 2-core was just your regular light duty standard radiator. The 3-core was your standard heavy duty. Because they had their database so screwed up, I was able to purchase a HD 3-core for the price of a 2-core. The list goes on and on. I could literally write a book on AutoZone f^ck ups.

That's a little off topic, but I wanted everyone to be aware of the incompetencies they are dealing with at ALLdata and AutoZone.

It's good that someone else on here is offering to give out the information for free on 1998 models. I was going to do the same for 2000 models, but I changed my mind real quick when I found 3 errors in less than 3 minutes. It's like seeing a cockroach. If you see one you know there's thousands more......
