Subject: Installing the Mopar Mud Flaps IP: Logged
Message: Picked up a set of Mopar mud flaps for my new 04 Dak CC (4WD). Was thinking of putting them on myself, however, it looks like I will need to wrestle the rear P265's off in order to get access for drilling and installation. Anyone know of a better way to do it. The fronts I can probably just turn the wheel to one side. Tnx

Message: There is no other way to put the rear mud flaps on. I put them on my 02 QC too and had to take the rear tires off.

Message: You can install them without tire removal you'll need a right angle drill (cordless typr) It's the smallest one and it just fits

Message: its a pain to remove the wheels, but it makes installing the flaps that much easier.
yes, you can use right angle drills & screwdrivers etc but you don't get good visibility, alignment, or leverage. i think you'll be happier later if you remove the wheels and install them properly now.

Message: Thanks for the tips. Figure I'll just bite the bullet and remove the tires. Just wish it was a little warmer in my garage. Maybe this weekend.
