Subject: Installing the Mopar Mud Flaps
IP: Logged

Message:
Picked up a set of Mopar mud flaps for my new 04 Dak CC (4WD). Was thinking of putting them on myself, however, it looks like I will need to wrestle the rear P265's off in order to get access for drilling and installation. Anyone know of a better way to do it. The fronts I can probably just turn the wheel to one side. Tnx

There is no other way to put the rear mud flaps on. I put them on my 02 QC too and had to take the rear tires off.

You can install them without tire removal you'll need a right angle drill (cordless typr) It's the smallest one and it just fits

its a pain to remove the wheels, but it makes installing the flaps that much easier.

yes, you can use right angle drills & screwdrivers etc but you don't get good visibility, alignment, or leverage. i think you'll be happier later if you remove the wheels and install them properly now.

Thanks for the tips. Figure I'll just bite the bullet and remove the tires. Just wish it was a little warmer in my garage. Maybe this weekend.
