 Subject: How to program Keyless Entery

I'm got my wife a 98 Dodge Grand Caravan a few months ago & I'm pretty sure it came with the keyless entery. But We didn't get the remotes when we got the van. I called the dealership & I can get the remote for about $35.00. But they want 45.00 to program it for me. But I don't want to pay them to do it. So I was hoping someone onhere possibelity knows how to program one. Appricate all input.

JD,
I think (though I have been known to be confused) you need at least one working remote in order to program additional remotes for your. If you don't have any remotes then you have to pay for the DRBIII hook up so they can flash the BCM and program a remote. I don't think you should have to pay to have 2 remotes programmed because after you get one programmed you should be able to do the other one yourself.
