Just yesterday this 00-01 SWB RC Cheby Silverado 5.3L duel exhaust at least out the back tried to put some hurt on me. LOL! We took off from the light, right from the start I can hear him trying to catch up to me, I'm just accelerating normal, maybe 15% Throttle. About half way at my door he adds way more throttle maybe even full trying to pass, I'm already going the speed I want so he creeps pass me. My wife say's is he trying to race us? I said, I guess so but it seemed so weak it wasn't even worth the gas, an you know 5.9L can suck gas! Wow I forgotten how slow those trucks can be. I almost got one a year and a half ago. 280hp? Yea right, it moved like a 180hp motor! Threw out the three minute sharing of the road, he stayed behind my truck I guess in embarrassment on how slow his truck moved and that he figured out that I wasn't even trying to race him. Poor Chebby, should of keep the good old 350, 5.7L ,because the new 5.3L 327 are not the 327 from the past!
