The ignition on my truck will not turn all the way it is like it sticks and if i hit it a couple of times it will start and i just went out there a second ago and its won't move at all help please

gear selector in proper position? sometimes they dont go in all the way. assuming its an automatic

only 2 things will cause that, a screwed up key/lock mechanism or not being fully in park or neutral as the case may be.

Tension against a locked sreering wheel will cause that too.
