Hello out there.

I have a question.

Right now i have stock 245 70r 17 on my truck and im going to put on 275 60 20. I went into a tire comparison chart and my rim and tire are going from a 30.3" to a 33" diameter. How big of a difference is this? Is my odometer going to show more miles or less? And can i ride these new wheels with my stock brakes. Im pretty sure from the chart it said if im doing 64.9 my speedometer will say 60. thanks

Don't think you will be able to squeeze 33" tires without a body lift or a suspension lift. I think the best you can do is 31"x10.5" tires without trimming fender or excessive rubbing.

...at least that is what I've been told on this forum.

Perhaps someone else will be able to better explain things to you than I can.

if,,the speedo controls the odometer you will show more miles than actual distance traveled.back spacing may be an issue with the new wheels.watch for frame rub.with out gearing down to 3.92s u will notice considerable power loss.plus more weight, wear front end parts prematurely.

the only thing that will change is if your stock gears aren't 3.55s.what ever they are you'll need to gear down 109% to avoid power loss.being a 2wd you wont notice as much power loss as a 4wd would. im just not a fan of over sized tires without keeping final drive ratio stock or a touch lower.

Uh, yeah, that changes everything. Don't have a clue what size tires you can squeeze onto a stock 1500. Sorry.
