i have a hard top that matches the color of the truck. it is lockable which is nice, but it does not remove very easy. so if you want to use the bed of the truck then that is not the way to go. I bought a trailer to haul stuff with when i need to. i think it was about $300 or so.

Truck cover not tonneau. Like the cloth that goes over it to protect against the elements when parked.
