Subject: Gear Install - TX IP: Logged
Message: Hey Guys - I've posted this before, but couldn't find the thread to revive.
Anywho - I'm in Austin TX, and looking for a shop to throw in a new Diff. and 4.10's at a good price. I'm convinced I can find someone to do it for around $300,,maybe less. Any suggestions? I'm open to going pretty much anywhere in the state,,closer is better though.
Many thanks!

Message: I think I answered this for you a while back but they might have gone out of business. the company I used was White's Performance Auto on Bannister Lane a number of years back. labor for rear was $250.

Message: Zendak,
didnt you already have 3.92 gears??? i coulda sworn you did when we worked on your truck. I do know it was one fast little b#@$h
if you do have 3.92 gears, i think the cost of the new gears and installation would be kinda dumb. You would be better off just finding a little smaller of a tire.
