With my 99 5.2 4x4 I get around 11-13 city driving and 15-17 interstate driving at 75-80 mph. Highway going 55-65 I can get 17-19.

I got an '02 4.7 quadcab 2wheel drive, it's kinda odd, i get terrible city mileage, something like 12.5, but great highway mileage, like 19 @ 75mph, could it be this damn Los Angeles traffic?

04 4.7 Quad V8 4x4 with 5 speed auto. Best mileage ever was the very first tank, over 360 miles on 24 gallons. Since then It has been almost exclusively 11.9-12.9, with one jump to 14.8 when the weather got above 40 degrees for a bit and I managed to go almost a complete tank without flooring it.
Thank god gas mileage wasn't the only reason I chose the Dak over the full sized pickups. If it was Id be seriously pissed considering I've heard of 3/4 tons from all makes doing better..

Funny, I start out with every tank full saying to myself Im gonna change my driving habits to get the best possible mileage. Then I end up having to pull wild and crazy wreckless stunts like pull away from a stop light and accelarate to merge on the highway.

Most of the time I try to refrain myself of flooring it in my R/T when im at a traffic light by a fast and the furious wanabe, f***ed up looking rice burner driving highschool prick.
But it feels so awesome to smokim.
DAMN GAS PRICES!!! :)
