Message: Well I think I'm going to make the move to a RAM 1500 with a Hemi. I could use the pulling power anyway. So I guess I'll sell my baby. What's a good price? Where should I post it I wonder?
Here's some pictures....

Message: Hey jetskier,
I hate to see it go but I understand.
I finished my safari rack late last summer (inspired by yours). I have not posted a pic yet.
If you are looking to part out anything I may be interested in your TB and IAT adjuster.
Also if you are thinking of stepping up you should really look at a 3/4 with a cummins.
Buddie I work with has one and it is freakishly fast. he runs 1/4 in just under 14! It's no MADDOG but it would be worth looking at anyway.
good luck and keep us posted on what you decide on.

Message: Thanks.
I think the 1500 Hemi will do me though. I don't want to suffer too many comforts. If I trade it in I think I'll pull some of the stuff out for sale, however, if I sell it outright I'll leave it in.
Think asking $15,500 is too much to start at?

Message: I started looking for a used DAK and bought new because they were cheeper, I found one and two year old Dakotas for about 19k.
I think for a quad 4x4 4.7 you could get about 19 easy.
It really depends on your market and how fast you want to sell it. I would say it should easily for 17k.
as long as it is below the 15k mile mark per year.
KBB rates it at 18,995 in exellent condition.
and 17.8 for good.
Keep in mind that mods will not necessarily increase the value of your sale. Obviosly if the buyer wants all the mods it will but generally speaking it is better to try and sell as close to stock as possible. (would you feel comfortable if the previose owner had a turbo or S/C?) it just makes you wonder what they actually did with the vehicle.
good luck.

Message: I don't think I can get 17k in my area. Incentives are too good right now.
KBB trade in is 14k. If I split that difference I think my truck could get the 15.5k. Maybe I'll start at 16k and see what happens.
Thanks,
Dean

Not that I'm beating anyone up on the way out, but so far they seem to be getting along better. Remember what you're here for people.
