Subject: how to improve ride? IP: Logged
Message: hello all,
i have a 97 cc 5.2 4x4, and would like to know if there is anything i can do to improve the ride of the back end?
i ask because when i drive over bumps that are like an inch high, it feels like the back end of the truck goes air born for a split second and then hits the ground.
so the first thing i did was change the rear shocks and put bilsteins on but that didn't do a thing.so is there anything i can do?
thanks

Message: Try taking 5-8 psi out of the tires. Remember that the numbers listed on the door jamb are MAX psi under MAX load. If it's still too stiff, consider changing springs to something a little softer. If you're running HD truck tires, that also part of the problem.
