 Subject: Temp Problem?????

I have a question i just installed a 180 thremo and my temp gauge goes up a little high maby about halfway to the halfway point on my gauge( i have a 1994 so it has no numbers) then it goes down to right at the edge of normal then for about ten minutes driving it will move back and forth but after that it stays in the lower position for good. Is this normal thanks for any help

also
make sure you bled all the air out of the system after the install, with it running, up to temp, so the t-stat's open.
