I might have some interest. Especially if it helps develope local resources for parts and service. Anyway I am willing to chat about it.
I live by Lake Sawyer near Black Diamond and Maple Valley. As a matter of fact I saw a Dak with a Raven canopy and some indication it was a member of Dakota USA (I think) that pulled out from a side road on my way to Maple Valley. Dark Blue or green. He was quick!

I would like to start something like to Portland/ SW Washington meet. Thats a little to far to drive from Reedmond. Im not sure if u have to have a minumim # of people to start one.

There is a mopar show in bellingham coming up, right now I don't know what day it is I have it writen down at home. I will post it when I get it, We should get a bunch of dakota's to show up there, I know of 7 dakota's in my area that have various mods that I will inform about this meet.

We will be going to the Woodburn Dragstrip (see below). We will convoy down to Woodburn starting at the Sweetbrier Inn Nyberg Rd. At I-5 Tualatin Exit 289 Tualatin OR (503) 692-5800. Departure time is 7:30 AM sharp so plan on being there a few minutes early. If you miss the group, we will see you in Woodburn.
If you would like to join us will be at the Sweetbrier restaurant at 6:30 - 6:45 for breakfast.

I found it out the date for the bellingham show is August 19 it is called MOPARFEVER and on the weekend of August 29 there is another in Victoria Bc. This weekend coming up on the 15th is a show in surrey Bc which is about an hour drive from bellingham.

I'll take a trip to seattle, thats not to far from me. Im in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Just out side Spokane, WA. bout 30 mins. Seattles an easy trip for me. Im hoping to go to portland for pats meeting, but i might not be able to make it. I just wish i knew some peeps around here that did dak stuff. I know there has to be some, i just dont know how to get in touch with them.

Hell ya it does. I love my dak, but i want a durango bad.... Not that i'd ever sell my dak, but if someone where to say GIVE me one, i'd take it. (hint hint) :)
Anyways, i wanna find more Dak/Durango people in my area, but i dont know how to go about getting peoples attention.

I hear ya on the Durango and Dakota people. They are hard to find. I haven't had the Durango that long, but the wife and I love it. So, I don't think I can give it away yet. ;) I just installed the Grillcraft grill inserts this past weekend and they look great. I've also added an Air Raid intake. Next is the flowmetrics TB, and then the Borla exhaust. I love this stuff.

Hey Glen, I'm just down the road a bit yet in Missoula, MT. I just bought my Dakota R/T from Tom Addis in Coeur d'Alene, it was the Yellow RC they had there all summer. I am in love with it, and it is a very uncommon sight in my neck of the woods. Did you happen to ever see it in Cd'L or did you know the pervious owners? Not much interesting in the car world over here except Rock and Roll Days. I got back from Cd'L the night of the big cruise. Nothing does a burnout like a R/T, I'm hooked!

Yeah! Im glad to see there are some people in my neck of the woods. We'll have to round up some more and get a meet together.
I cant wait to get the Flowmetrics TB, thats gonna be my next mod (after i pay off my headers). This stuff is great, but to bad it costs so much. :P
Hersbird, I did see it driving around a long time ago, but i never got to meet the owners, they seemed to take really good care of it, so im sure you got a good buy. I got my truck from Tom too, he's good some good prices if you talk him down a little :). Next time you come over here to the little lake city, you shoot shoot me an email, and we'll hook up and show all those wannabe ricers (not many serious ones around here) what some trucks can do. :) Man i love this stuff!
