Subject: Intake question! IP: Logged
Message: What is the point of stopping the intake short of the fender area where it is supposed to be getting its cold air? Between the cowl area and the opening underneath the headlight area there is plenty of "pure" cold air available inside there, however, by having the intake also exposed to the engine compartment makes no sense. Our gm work trucks are plumbed right into that area!

Message: thats the scam of alot of aftermarket intake systems. your just sucking in hot air and actually hurting horse power. thats why youve got to do some checking before you order these things.

Message: Yeh I agree, but why doesn't dodge extend that tube just a little further and make the opening the same size as the tube and you have cold air!
