Message: Hey guys. I know its still winter, but im thinking ahead to spring. my trucks black, and it seems like every time i wax, i get a ton of swirl marks in the paint that show up when in the sun. I use Turtle wax with the black colerants for black paint. it has i nice shine, but i hate the swirls. Suggestions?

Message: Try a cleaner wax, then the compound wax. I had swirls in my neons. I took cleaner wax, then compound wax with a buffer. took the swirls out. The neon was black also. Hope that helps

Message: Sorry to sound dumb, but what exactly is "buffing compound", and can you recommend one? Also are you saying use this to get rid of the swirls and then wax again, or use this as a finishing coat?
Thanks for all the input so far and keep it coming.

Message: Imperial Hand Glaze by 3-M. Any parts store that carries 3-M products can get it. They may not keep it on the shelf, ask for it. Follow the directions it works like magic. Then stop using that damn cheap wax.

Message: Stop rubbing in a circular motion too, while you're at it. Rub in a straight line along the longest area. Not in circles!
