Anyone ever install the fiberglass hood from AAR Quality Fiberglass for a 1996 and older Dakota? What do you think? Are there any other sources for less money? I bought a T/A hood for my Dodge Challenger and quite happy with it however, what a chunk of change that was! Their customer service left alot to be desired too.

I bought a hood from AAR. I thought the transaction and shipping went just fine. The hood arrived undamaged and it's held up fine on the stock springs ever since.

I have one on my truck that I ordered several years back. It seems to me that there was a delay in shipment but it arrived undamaged and the quality and finish was excellent. A friend who works in body repair for another domestic brand says that his O.E. parts aren't as well done as the AAR hood. My advice would be to buy one from them at a car show that they attend, you can look the parts over and don't have to wait for shipment. It has survived 3 summers heat without warping and is a daily driver.
