I am currently having troubles w/ my 92 dakota w/5.2 litre. The truck starts and idles fine but at running speeds (it can be any speed) the truck has a tendency to cut out like it is losing fuel, but then it will "pop" a bit and accelerate. It seems to do it more when i get to the top of a hill and let off the gas.
When it happens I need to lay on the gas or back off otherwise it will almost completely stall out, but it never completely stalls. Please guys and ideas???

I have a 93 Dakota 5.2 and something similar happend to me, it was my fuel pump cutting out.
I had to replace it cost was about 230 with discount.
