I am 23 and own a 2002 Dodge Dakota Sport. It just turned over to 20,000 miles this morning. The only con to this truck is the poor gas mileage.

I've had the following:
1966 Plymouth Fury 318
1970 Pontiac LeMans 350-Ave. for its day, but it would
flatout run. Nothing I've driven since comes close.
1983 Plymouth Horizon-econo box
1987 Dakota-great truck until it was t-boned
1990 Plymouth Acclaim 260,000 miles & still going
1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager-family car
1997 Dakota extended cab 4x4. I like it a lot.

Im 18 i own a black 2000 Dodge Dakota Sport 3.9 Ext. Cab.
Before that i drove a 1990 Plymouth Horizon-good car to beat on and get good gas mileage.
I love my Dakota and will never trade it.

I am 19 and I am the proud new owner of a 1997 Dodge Dakota 3.9L V6 single cab and long bed. It is nice but it is the Magenta color. Oh well.

Damn I wish I could have had a new car at 18 or 19. My first was a $700 72 Chevelle. I'm 36 and bought my 99 Dakota sport new. This is my 4th vehicle and 2nd new vehicle.

41 2000 dak quad cab,5.9,3:92s lowered 3/4. i also own a 2002 lightning (i know, iknow, its a ford but is damm fast also) 2003 heritage harley,2000 ford escort (winter wheels)

Owned a 94 Ford Explorer which has been great to me. My brother now owns it and its' got over 120,000 and has never been in the shop except for a blown tire.
Owned a 97 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. Nice looking, fast car. Had many problems with it though. First year for that new model Pontiac and the electronics were poor on it.
Now own a 98 Dakota Sport 4x4. I love it. Get many compliments on it and it's been great in the snow, which is super important here in northern michigan. I plan on getting a Jeep Liberty Renegade in about a year as well. Cool looking SUV I think. Anybody own one?
