Like I said, they both challenged me. I could not have cut them off unless I out ran them. I even let them have the jump. The A-holes wouldn't leave me alone so I had to make them eat my R/T exhaust! I still don't believe you even have a truck much less an R/T. I have pics of mine I can post right now. Where are your pics? Anybody that buys a truck because it looks cool should have lots of pics. Oh, my other car is a BMW. I bought it because I think it looks cool. I prefer Volvos though, they just don't look as cool.

Sorry but I dont have any digital pics of my truck. I do have lots of pics just not digital. I post in my real name not zippy. I think that you cant handle the fact that a dodge truck owner is dissapointed with his purchace. I gave dodge a shot becouse they look good and it was the only mid size truck on the market. I checked on some other forums at the time and saw nothing bad about them. I guess I should have looked into it somwhere else other than an all dodge forum. Im just not afraid to admit I made a mistake in buying it. And becouse I bouth it new I will take too much of a hit if I sell it. Ever tried to sell one of these things? Its not easy unless you want to lose alot of money.
Why the hell would I claim to have one if I dont? And any one can post a pic of somthing they dont own.
Why did you have to cut them off? if you want to let them know that you beat them just pull away. The only time I ever saw somone cut off in a street race is when they get a better start than the other guy but then he starts to catch up. I dont know how I can prove to you that I have an R/T...oh wait... I dont have to prove anything to you.

You must be referring to when Geoffrion and Alderman were blowing fire out their hoodscoops at every pass....I dont know if they were running nitrous or not, but I can tell you this.....that when that was going on they were using B1 T.S. heads (top sportsman) on their cars, and you know what those are? CANTED VALVE HEADS! Ask Dave Koeffel! P.S. the restrictions on the Hemi in pro-stock started in 1971. Thats why they used a Chevy head to start with ! AAARRRRGGGHH!

In this state your supposed to get back into the right hand lane after you pass someone. I guess your from the other side of the pond where they drive on the wrong side of the road. Besides, after someone challenges me and I beat them I like to slow back down and the right hand lane is for slower traffic. I like to keep my 70mph runs in 40mph zones to a minimum. You can keep going faster if you want to. What's the point? You already beat them. I've been thrown in jail for street racing. Funny thing is, neither of the 2 Chevy owners had the balls to pull back up beside me and challenge me again. I guess they had enough. That is the one thing I hate the most about owning a Dodge. Every needle dick Chevy and Ford owner has to screw with you and try to proove something. Then when you beat their ass they cry about it. Nearly all of them have made modifications to their truck. My truck is bone stock. It only has 17,000 miles on it and it is a 2000 model. It's my baby. Oh, I hate to admit this. I OWN A CHEVY! There are you happy now? I have a 1993 Caprice Classic LS. Only 76,000 on the clock. It's what I drive most of the time. I didn't buy it because I thought looked cool. I wanted a full-frame car with rear-wheel-drive and V8 power. That leaves you 2 choices: CrownVic/Grandmarqui or the Caprice/Impala. I prefer Chevy over Ford. Dodge will have a new RWD V8 powered car in another year or so and that will probably be my next new car.

This is so rediculous. It happened again today. Another new Siverado owner challenged me today. What is it with Chevy truck owners? I rarely get challenged by Ford owners and I never get challenged by other Dodge owners. All I want to do is my Sunday cruise down the blvd. What is up with all the built up frustration that Chevy Truck owners have? They must not be getting any.

So wiplash if you where in the left lane than you must have been the one chalenging the chevy. I Guess every car or truck you deside to pass is now racing you. Thats not racing, thats passing. Does every one you race know that your racing them?
No wonder you have been put in jail for it. Probably got pulled over for speeding and you told the cop " But I had to" " the guy in the chevy I was passing chalenged me"

Yep, your a Chevy man alright. That's alright. Drive that R/T a couple of more years and you will be relieved of all that built up anxiety.
How did you guess I was in the left lane? Your a pretty fart smeller. The first time I was sitting still at a 4 way stop sign when the guy pulled up beside me and gave me the signal to run it. The second time I was at a red light. The guy chased me down, drove across 3 lanes of traffic and cut several cars off just so he could get up beside me. Then he started bumping his throttle to try and get my attention. Today, another Chevy idiot pulls up beside me at a red light and does the same thing. You Chevy guys need to get professional help or something to try to raise your self esteem or overcome whatever complex you have. I guess it's the lack of HP complex. Maybe it's the ugly truck complex. Maybe it's the I got beat by a Ford complex so now I got to try and beat a Dodge. Like I said earlier, I rarely get challenged by Ford owners and I never get challenged by Dodge owners. The only Ford challengers I ever get are Mustangs. Most of them don't waist their time on trucks. I may be stereotyping here, but it sure seams like Chevy owners have self esteem issues.

Your probably right about the jail thing. I don't race every chevy that challenges me. I didn't race the prick that challenged me at the red light today. Once he figured out I had no interest in racing him he backed off. Plus I think his girl friend was giving him an earfull for acting such an idiot. Both the Chevy pricks that challenged me yesterday would not back off. I could not slow down or speed up without them harrassing me. I guess I could have turned off into a parking lot. Why would I want to give a Chevy owner the satisfaction of a Dodge owner backing down? Besides going to jail again. They asked for it.
1994-1998 twin turbo 6cyl Toyata Supra Rules! It even beat the Viper out in 95 and 96. In line 6 vs V10. I6 won. Then Dodge bumped up the HP on the Viper to just barely eek out the Supra. It was questionable as to which was fastest. Back in 94-98 the Supra was the Viper's only real challenge for under $50,000.00. Anything else with compareable performance cost well over $100,000.00. Toyota needs to bring the Supra back.Of course, now we have the EVO Lancer. I really question the reliability of the MitsuBITCH and the WRX Sub. The Supra offered the performance of an exotic and the reliability of a'.... well"Toyota".

Except for Lightning owners, you never have Ford owners posting crap on here. If you own a Lightning you have all the right to talk smack because you are the fastest. Read my lips Dum@ss! The Reg-Cab-Silverado weighs 4073lbs. My CLUB_CAB R/T weighs 4107lbs. Go cry to you mommy about getting beat by a Dodge. I've won several $10.00 bets with Chevy owners that try to use the weight excuse. Just face it, Chevy SUCKS! I should know, I own one (93 Caprice). That thing won't get out of it's own way. Chevy's do coast very well down hill though. The Dodge compression brakes too good. It won't coast, not even down hill unless you put it in neutral.

I did see one of those supras when we went to dyno my friends 66 plymouth. The supra made an impresive 515 rear wheel hp. But it wasnt stock. We dynoed at 470 rear wheel hp witha 451 stroker. We raced the supra later that year and beat him but not by much.
Thanks bowtie you made my night. Those early novas were hard to beat. even for the hemi. I`l take a 300 lb 68 camaro with a 375 hp 396 in stock form and run it against a street hemi any day. I like dodges too but your right, the hemi was the phantom engine that hardly was.

I get chalenged at the lights all the time with my R/T by chevys, fords and the odd dodge too. I have raced a few if it is some what safe to do so. But racing off street lights can get real dagerous if there is any traffic around. Remember this. If there is a car pulling out of a parking lot or side street in front of you, he may look up and asume that you are going the speed limit and pull in front of you. They cant judge speed by looking at your headlights coming towards them. If you hit him, your at falt not him. Iv seen it happen.Try this next time some one pulls next to you. Rev your engine, make it look like your going to race and when the light turns green just sit there. You will make him look like more of an idiot than you would if you beat him. It works trust me.

I don't know old you are, but I was racing Toyatas back then. Read the 1996 Motor Trend Car of the Year Issue. It describes the Supra in much detail. It not only squeeked out a mid 12sec quarter but it out did the R/T in the slalom also. Of course Dodge would not be out done so they upped the HP and the handling on the Viper the following year. It just barely beat the Supra in 97 after the improvements. The Supra weighed in at 3460 and the Viper was about 3400. Like I said in my last post. The 320HP was way underated. M.Trend even asked the same question you did,"How can a 320HP car beat a 405HP car?" It did. Who knows, Toyata probably tweaked the boost for that show. Hell, how does a 4107lb Dakota truck with only 195RWHP beat a 4073lb Silverado with over 200RWHP? I do it nearly everyday.
96 was the one year Viper wasn't KING. Why would I lie about Dodge getting beat? I'm a Dodge man. The reason I remember it so clear is because I'm still scared from the trama inflicted on me by anything but a Dodge being the fastest. I will probably go postal and kill everyone at the next Toyota dealership I drive by because of the built up anger I have from this.LOL! You Chevy whores kill me!

Let me refrase the "I raced 96 Toyotas" back then. I meant to say I raced against them in my 68 Charger. I know I'll get hammered for that statement. My Charger had a 400 big block punched .040 over with a 440 crank for 454ci. It would only run high 13's. It was just a 9.5:1 engine made for pump gas. It was a daily driver and an automatic at that. The stock twin turbo Supra would kick my ass. God forbid if one actually showed up at the track with slicks and the boost turned up a couple of pounds.

wanna talk Zl1's vs hemi darts and Cudas? the Zl1 cant even get into d-class! There is NO G.M. or ford in A (fastest) or even B class! And whats up with you guys with stroker big block Dodges going 13's Ive never!NEVER heard of a big block dodge going that slow with a stroker crank! And that guy that says "fear the mouse". Why? Because they have junk blocks? Junk valvetrains? Rods that are too short? Lifter diameters that are too small for high lift cams (you'll need a roller before yuo know it). Junk 23 degree heads (brodix will fix you up with some nice 18 degree heads if you wanna make a mouse run better) No reason other than price to run a small block Chevy over a Dodge. (reciprocation assembly is lighter on a chevy, so what) If you can think of a reason, tell us!. Oh yea, and Brian Y, why dont you also tell us why my nitrous comment was a joke...we would like your input....seriously! p.s. the small block chevy weighs 600lbs!!!! the small block ford, 500, mopar,550! Heck, the chevy small block almost weighs as much as a Hemi! Porkers!
