Subject: What is up with these kids IP: Logged
Message: I see so many of these punk kids that try to act all tough. My niece who is 16 was dating this kid who couldnt be over 17 mabey 18 and I happend to stop over there. He came over in his lowered Escalade ( which Im sure his mommy and daddy paid for) with these insane spinning rims that were huge. He gets out of the truck, his hat is on sideways, has these baggy pants that i could cover my whole truck with as a car cover. the colors were crazy yellow red blue green you name it. His shirt was a loud yellow and red with the writing on his chest said somethign like fight the corruption. WTF? he comes shuffling up to me and jsut looks at me with this punk look like i was trash. I jsut stared back and he sort of hunches his shoulders and spreads his arms and goes " what chu lookin at punkazz?" he didnt realise we were both going in the same house. we walk in all the while im staring at him. My bro in law is hawaiian and this kid tries to talk street with him. my bro in law is a well spoken guy so he looks at me with this look that said please translate. My niece comes down and wants to introduce us. When I shook his hand he tried to squeeze my hand to hurt me. Now im 6 01 240 LB. I still work out and run and keep in shape. Im by no means a pu$$y. so I squeezed back till his hand felt like mush. what I thought was the worse thing is he was acting like a street thug but had nothing to back it up. For crying out loud he lived in newport beach and his parents were not street rabble. He thought he could intimidate me. he was abotu 5 08 and mabey 140 LB. I Balically looked at my niece and said I cant believe youre going out with this little punk who has no idea what it means to be curteous.
his answer was PPPSSHHHTTTT and a swagger as he walked out. he tells my niece lets go i dotn wanna waste my time. needless to say she didnt ge tto go out with him that night or any other night. Man I remember when I was dating and went to meet the parents. i shaved clean, wore nice clothes and was polite. if I ever have daughters they are definately NOT going out on a date till I meet the kid. What a little jerk off. Sorry dotn mean to write a book but I was mad. If I would of met him in a dark alley I would of kicked the crap out of him and allof his punk friends. jesus have soem respect for other people.
Sorry abotu venting

Message: The main problem I have with these kids is not laughing my a$$ off when they pass. The pants, the look, the chains, the spinners on the wheels... It's a sign of MAJOR insecurity. It really is sad. You should feel sorry for them.

Message: Venting is good. I live in Ft. Myers, Fl. and those kind of kids are every where. Most of them come from this neighboring city called Cape Coral. It's nothing but these g-funk allstar dip sh!t ebonics speaken suburban thugs. They mostly wear white wife beaters, white nike visors, jeans that make them look like they sh!t themselves and some kind of loud shoe. If I ever have a son and he dresses like one of these morons, I'll either kick his a$$ or shame him into not being such a tool.

Message: Have noticed this myself. Seems to be cool to act hatefully to others, like some kind of ghetto $h!t. Also see this kind of behavior on the internet with the "trolls". Have noticed this most with kids that don't have a decent father figure (I guess if the punk acted that way around his pop he'd get his wannabe ghetto butt pounded).

Message: That sh!t irritates the hell out of me. I think what most of these kids need is a serious down home out on the farm A$$ whooping. Knock some f'ing sense into them it drives me up a f'ing wall. Disrespectful pieces of sh!t. Need some parents who care about them. Most of this crap starts with family or lack there of. Sorry about the rant. Probably my biggest pet piev.

Message: We're not all older guys. I'm 26 and went to high school with dipsh!ts like these kids. They've been around since I was in middle school. They've become stronger with the eminem craze. When I was a kid I was really into the beastie boys (still am). They weren't g-thugs though. They acted pretty normal and dressed in jeans and a t-shirt unless they were making fun of the kids that dressed like thugs.
Now we got slim shady, 50 cent, and da fast and da furious yo.

Message: That kid is a symptom, not the disease. The disease is poor/absentee parenting and the lack of moral upbringing.
I would work on your niece. Try to make here see that a piece of trash like him is going to end up treating her the same way he treats everyone else. That kid obviously has some delusion of grandeur aka the Eminem Syndrome.
I'm with 03DaKota. It's whoop azz time.

Message: Same problem in Ontario guys. Problem is when you do whoop there ass, you gotta knock them out cold. They know they're little so they generally carry some kind of weapon. Being a small town country boy, i've seen quite a few of those guys hit the ground. Not condoning fighting, but if they come at you(and there's always more than one), if you hit the ground you'll get stomped. So if you lay one out the rest tend to run away.
I run a lumberyard, and these guys start they're summer jobs lookin like punks, but at the end of the summer after some work, they realize that look isn't practical, especially when everyone else who wants to kick your as* is wearing toes!

Message: I'm a little older then you guys, 38, pretty old but I like to think I'm still young. Anyway, I agree that these kids need good positive roll models in thier lives and especially in the home. What gets me really mad are the rich kids who pretend to be something they're not. They act like they came from hard lives and the world owes them something. WTF! Whatever happened to good old holsom respect and working hard for your money.. It makes everything a little sweeter whne you have a sense of accomplishment. My first car was a 1976 Dodge Dart that I bought for $100 bucks and worked my ass off on to get it registered......... Man I hate my parents for not being rich.

Message: Hell im only 31 but i respect everyone I meet unless they give me a reason not to. As for my niece she pretty much dropped him like a hot potatoe. Heck if he was wearing soem decent clothes and didnt speak to me in ebonics I probably wouldnt of had a problem with him. But when your first words to soemone is What you lookin at punkazz and a stupid bring it on gesture it tends to tick me off. What gets me is I was in the USMC for 4 years active and 4 reserve and pretty much everyone I came in contact with was curteous and nice. My best friends kid became like that kid I was talking about. it made it really hard for us to still be friends with the parents when he was smarting off to me and my wife and they did nothing about it. too bad cause we pretty much stopped talking to each other all due to their obnoxious child.
Im not pi$$ing on decent young kids 16-25. All im saying is how hard would it be for him to say hi im here to pick Mallory up to go to wherever. Is she ready?. But I guess you have to act all tough in front of someone who doesnt really care. The only thing that ever really scared me was my DI back in Coronado. that and killer whales when swimming or diving

Message: I'm 21, and could not agree more! I'm in the Air Force, and I have to put up with these dumbsh!ts all around me! I'm tired of them making our units look bad when they're out on the town. I was raised in Southeast Iowa with good old-fashioned morals and a respect for others and I bet if they were too, they'd be much different. Yeah, I wore somewhat loose clothes, but they still looked respectable. These idiots don't even know how stupid they look. I blame it, partially, on things like MTV. Let's get involved where their parents didn't and kick some azzes!

Message: I knew this kid back in high school who was the biggest/badest bully in the school. One time, I saw him with his father and it was all, 'yes sir, no sir', I couldn't believe it, he was a totally different person.
The moral of the story is this punk may be a nice polite young man when he is around his parents, but when on his own... So a talk with his parents MIGHT help things.
Of course, in most cases, it is the parents that let the kid walk all over them. In those cases, the kid is being a dumb s!@t because he 'know no better, dude'...
Eventually, he will learn or will end up living under a bridge. Of course, if his parents are that rich (the kid gets an Escalade?), he might end up as the president…

Message: Lol. I'm 18 and still in high school. And I think the problem is there parents hand them everything. I have to work for everything, and glad my parents did that. I show respect; and like Rob, I shave up and dress nice when I meet the parents. Now I had a Neon with a Blitz kit and rims, and now I have my 93 Dakota, but I payed for all of it and insurance. I just feel that most of you said is true. Lack of parenting and discpline shows everywhere in them. Just had to defend my young self :P
