I ripped off my mirror on the passenger side (can you say one too many Sam Adams?). I need the whole mirror and arm that bolts into the door. Any good websites you can recommend that sells mirrors? Should I try a junk yard? If I got a mirror off a smashed up Dak, whould that be bad karma? thanks

PS, it a '01, and it is a nonpowered (or un-powered...) mirror.
And another thing, why isnt there a hinge on the Daks mirror like there are on every other fricken car/truck?

Check out Ebay, that's where I got a replacement power, dumbo ear, fold away mirror for my 00 Dak, $40. I tried junk yards and they kind of laughed at me, guess this must be a high demand item, and the stealer wanted $180 for the mirror.
Had my truck parked on the street and a school bus took out the mirror, thank god the bus didn't take out my whole truck. Maybe the bus driver had a couple of your Sam Adams, could explain the mirror phenomenon.

It was after MY Panthers won on sunday, I was moving my truck IN MY DRIVEWAY so my wife could get out, I hit a tree. I was slightly buzzed and happy as heck, it's not a crime if you stay in the driveway...
Thanks for the Ebay idea, I called a junk yard today and they said they could sell me the whole door, but not just the mirror...any other good dakota parts sites?

I dont know about other mirror sites....but they junk yard wanting to sell you the whole door??? WTF? I thought "junk yards" specialized in selling those things that are ahrd on wear. Just wanted to kick some steam about that...
Also, Matt let me know, there are like 3 junk yards around where I live (no I dont like in kentucky), and I would be more than happy to give one a call for ya.
