 Subject: Passenger Side Air Bag

I want to disable my driver side air bag so my seven year old can ride with me in the front of the vehicle. There are two 10 Amp fuses for the air bag system. Does anyone know if one of the fuses serves the pass. side while the other serves the driver side? Can I disable the pass. side by removing only one of the fuese?

does your truck not have a place for you to turn a key to disable the pass. air bag?

No, it does not. From what I can gather, club cabs with rear bench seat do not have the turn key switch option because car seats can ride in the rear.

oh well i would guess that they fuses are not for seperate air bags. If i would have to guess i would say they have 2 fuses incase one fails you would have a backup. Because air bags are pretty important.

Does anyone know if it's possible to have a passenger side air bag lock installed by a pro-shop (or equivalent) so that I can disable the passenger side air bag when I choose to do so? (my local dodge dealers' service center would not agree to do the work.)
